   41 weeks, 287 days, 6888 hours, 413,280 minutes, and 24,796,800 seconds is a LONG time! It's how long it has been and will be until I return to Haiti. Each of those 287 days my heart and my mind has been filled with thoughts, memories, and reminders of Haiti. I have contemplated jumping on a plane in order to return several times, but my passport expiring has kept me from actual arriving at the airport to try it. However, my heart has wished to be able to run across and swim across to the people of Haiti that I have missed so much. I am now down to only 9 more weeks of praying, 69 days of waiting, 1656 hours of preparing, 99,360 minutes of celebrating, and 5,961,600 seconds of praising God. I cannot wait! I am anxious. I am excited. I am thrilled. I am amazed. I am a bit inpatient. I am ready.

I am ready to go on this adventure with God. I am ready to see how He will stretch and strain me. I am ready to see how He will equip and sustain me. I am ready to see how He will challenge and change me. I am ready to see how He will catch me and hold me. I only have to wait  9 more weeks, 69 more days, 1656 more hours, 99,360 more minutes, and 5,961,600 more seconds.
