Support Letter :)

I am SO excited to share with you that God is sending me back to Haiti for the summer! This is an answer to a prayer that I began praying over nine months ago. God has placed upon me a desire, passion, and burden to bring His light and hope to His people in Haiti and I praise and thank God for providing me with the privilege of living among my Haitian brothers and sisters again! He is SO good! I am excited to continue serving with the amazing staff, both American and Haitian. Thank you for being a part of my journey last summer. Your prayers, notes, and gifts were a HUGE blessing!

This summer my responsibilities will be very similar to last summer. I leave for Haiti in May and will return in mid-August. The main things that I will be doing will be to help organize the groups that come in, doing a Bible study with abuse victims, helping with Children’s church, and anything else Jose and Jody tell me to do. I am looking forward to continue building on the relationships I started last summer and for also becoming more fluent in Creole.

In just three months, I will be on my way to my home and family in Haiti! That means that I am now starting to prepare for this summer by first, gathering prayer support. This last summer God showed me the power and necessity of prayer. Please join me in circling this summer in prayer. It will be a summer that tests me, challenges me, and changes me. Through your prayers and encouragement God will use me to share His love with the beautiful people of Haiti. If you would like prayer updates, please let me know. I will work on adding you to either a Facebook group or email list (if you don't have Facebook), that way I can send you weekly updates of prayer requests, now and this summer. You can also check out my blog for stories and updates throughout the summer.

Another way I need support is in financial contributions. I have already committed some of my own money towards the $3,000 total I need to raise, but I cannot do this on my own. I would like to ask you to prayerfully consider partnering with me if God is calling you to partner with me this summer by donating to my trip you can donate by writing a check or by donating online. Either way I am confident that God will provide for this summer, not just financially but in all areas.
